On the 15th November the Respondi AG started operating under the direction of Dr. Otto Hellwig. Respondi currently disposes over an online panel with more then 50.000 members.
The company is based in Cologne and emerged from the respondi-panel of the IFAK-institute. After gaining the recruitment platform "sozioland", respondi will offer its panel services as an independent company to an international audience.
Otto Hellwig, CEO of Respondi, is certainly not a stranger in the field of "online-research-market". Various stages in the professional career of the sociologist PhD, include, amongst others, the Speedfacts GmbH in Frankfurt/Main, where he was responsible for the development and expansion of the speedpanel. He also worked as divisional director for the softwareprovider Globalpark GmbH. The Respondi AG team currently consists of nine employees and will be expanded in the following months.
"Besides the German-speaking countries we are now expanding to the UK, France, Spain and Italy. A further emphasis will made on the new member states of the EU", said Hellwig.
Respondi aspires to satisfy its customers with a special high panel quality and, to distance itself from the other contestants on the international market. Despite online recruitment panel services Hellwig still sees a future for offline recruitment: "In each of our panel countries, we have a cooperation agreement with at least one classic market research institution, which recruits panelists for us offline," Otto Hellwig describes the corporate strategy.
